Common causes of failure of a window lifter:

Motor failure: A failure of the motor of the lifter may prevent the window from moving up/down, and such failure may be due to reasons such as short circuit or damage to the motor coil.

Switch issues: A damage or poor contact of the switch that controls the window lifter may interfere with its normal operation.

Line failure: Damage, short circuit, or poor connection of wires may prevent normal current flow.

Mechanical jamming: Wear or rust of guide rails, gears, or other mechanical components or jamming caused by foreign objects may interfere with normal operation of the lifter.

Window issues: Improper installation, deformation, or damage to the window may cause difficult up/down movement.

Transmission system failure: Wear or breaking of components of the transmission system such as ropes and chains can also cause lifter failure.

Power issues: Insufficient voltage of the vehicle battery or a blown fuse may prevent the lifter from obtaining enough power.

DPA STO window lifter

Advantages of DPA STO window lifter:

1. The improved rope through-hole size, deeper holes, and thicker contact face of the guide tube lead to higher stability of DPA STO window lifter.

2. High-strength wire rope conduits are incorporated by DPA STO window lifter to ensure stability while achieving longer product service life.

3. Higher content of glass fiber in the guide plates of DPA STO window lifter results in overall improvement of product ductility and strength.

4. DPA STO window lifter has adopted a modified product design. The guide contact angle has been increased to achieve stronger wear resistance of the guide wheels. Consequently, the service life of key parts is extended.
