The solution to the failure of the window lifter

1. There is too much dust accumulated in the window groove, and consequently larger force is required to move the window: To address this problem, a long and thin tool may be used to clean off the dust;

2. The window adhesive strips have been used for a very long time and have deformed severely due to aging, thus preventing normal movement of the window: The strips may be replaced with new ones, and some talc may be applied to the strips to achieve better lubrication;

3. The window lifter motor has been damaged: If we press and hold the window button for a while and then smell burning, the window lifter motor probably has burnt out. The solution is to replace the window lifter motor with a new one.
